Paul Carter – Head Coach 18U

This will be Paul's second season as head coach for the 18U team. He was born in Silverton and raised in the surrounding area. He was a three sport all-state athlete in High School before attending Chemeketa Community College where he fell in love with the game of Volleyball under mentor Terry McLaughlin. He attended Warner Pacific University for a bachelors in Human Kinetics & Health and graduated with honors from his Masters of Exercise Science program in 2016. He brings 10 years of various volleyball experience including playing indoor and outdoor, coaching and officiating from the high school, club, and collegiate volleyball worlds. Combined this with a passion for athletics, teaching, and working with youth to discover who they are and what they can become, Coach Carter is excited to be back in his hometown bringing both his volleyball and life experiences to the Bearcats. Paul currently serves as the Head Volleyball Coach for Chemeketa Community College in Salem, OR

 

Reilly Rosecrans – Assistant Coach 18U

Reilly graduated from Sprague High School in Salem in 2015 and went on to play her freshman collegiate season at Eastern Oregon University. She then went on to play two years at Kentucky Christian University where she helped the team to two National Tournament 2nd place titles and where she was named National Player of the Year for the NCCAA. Reilly played as a setter throughout her whole career of the sport and now loves to work specifically with setters and training blocking techniques. Following her collegiate career, Reilly went back to help as an assistant for the Sprague High School varsity team during the 2018 season. She is now the assistant volleyball coach for Chemeketa Community College along side 18’s coach Paul Carter. Reilly also enjoys her job as an events manager for the Home Builders Association of Marion and Polk Counties and spending time with her husband Jacob.

 

Molly Barth – Head Coach 16U-1

Molly started playing volleyball in middle school and has loved the game ever since. She played four years of varsity volleyball at JFK High School, then one year at Chemeketa. Shortly after she finished playing she began coaching. Starting back at Kennedy for 9 seasons, then to Dallas and Silverton for another combined 6 seasons. Mixed in there she has also coached a number of years for club teams including Salem Volleyball Club and the Bearcats Volleyball Club. When not coaching She loves spending time with her husband, kids and beautiful grand baby. Usually you will find her in the great outdoors camping, hiking, fishing or sitting around a campfire!

Faith Jauregui - Assistant Coach 16U-1

Faith has been playing volleyball since 3rd grade, starting with the Boys and Girls Club. She played middle school and in high school (as a Libero) at McNary High School. She has also been playing club volleyball since 5th grade. Her first tournament her senior year with her club team she was recruited to play collegiate volleyball at College of the Redwoods in California. While playing, she also developed her love for coaching and worked under Coach Hans Schneider. She’s been coaching since 2014 each season for the Boys and girls Club (spring and fall) until 2017. She’s also coached at NVVC, Southside and this fall Claggett Creek Middle school. She also assists each summer at Sand Sharks volleyball camp at Keizer Rapids park (6 week developmental sand volleyball camp) While not playing volleyball she is hard at work and about to graduate with her associates, with plans on transferring to get her bachelors in either nursing or law. She is a AVID tutor for Salem Keizer as well. She is excited to join Bearcats. She wants to focus on fundamentals and teaching kids the love of the sport.

Jasmine Griffith - Head Coach 16U-2

Jasmine graduated from Country Christian High School and this will be her second season coaching. She started playing volleyball when she was 10 and has competed at high levels of competition. Her main goal with coaching is to teach young girls the fundamentals and strategies for volleyball while making it fun and enjoyable! She strives to teach young girls the love and competitive atmosphere that volleyball can provide! 

Courteney Saki - Head Coach 14U-1

 

Kait Barnes – Head Coach 14U-2

Kait is a graduate of Silverton High School and has been coaching for the past three years. Her main goal with coaching is for kids to not only love the game but also for her players to understand the fundamentals behind the game. She is excited about the upcoming season and can't wait to help players both on and off the court. 

 

Lexi Pola – Head Coach 12U

Lexi graduated from Western Oregon University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and a Minor in Sports Leadership. She currently teaches 1st-8th Grade P.E. for Silver Falls School District. Lexi has been a coach for various sports and age levels since 2009. Her goal is to teach the fundamental skills needed to be successful individually and as a team. To teach the mindset necessary to be successful as an individual and team player.
